Yes, Rhode Island Real Estate Rules and Regulations require pre-license candidates to complete a 45-hour pre-license program. You can choose either day, night or weekend class schedules. Yes, you have up to 2 years. 

Yes you are allowed to take the exam online but if you fail you will be required to take the exam in the testing center after that.

The  State of Rhode Island licensing fees are $140.00 every two years. You  are also required to provide proof of Errors & Omissions Insurance, which will be provided by your broker (check with your broker  for the cost). In addition, new licensees are required to pay a  one time $25.00 fee to the State Recovery Fund.

Rhode Island real estate licensees renew every two years.  As part of your renewal requirements, you will need to  complete 24 hours of continuing education (New licensees earned within 6 months of any renewal date is exempt for said renewal period)
